You love each other, but you feel far apart. Maybe trauma, past relationships, conflict, or misunderstandings have created a distance neither of you knows how to bridge. You’re tired of repeating the same painful patterns and longing to find your way back to each other. You want more than better communication—you want to feel understood, emotionally safe, deeply connected, and able to trust in your relationship again.

Though I pull from several treatment modalities, Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) is the orientation that I most root myself in. This model guides my work through my focus on attachment and patterns within a relationship (family and/or romantic) and within the individual. Much of this orientation weaves the historical throughout the current, allowing us to gain increased understanding and awareness for how our history influences our now.

I’m passionate about helping couples understand the patterns that keep them stuck and disconnected. Together, we explore what’s happening beneath the conflict—including attachment needs, trauma, communication patterns, and power dynamics. My goal isn’t simply to help you communicate better, but to help you understand each other more deeply, create greater emotional safety, and build a relationship where both partners feel heard, valued, and connected.

I help couples explore how historical and intergenerational experiences may be showing up in their relationship today, while creating space for healing, unde
Trauma-informed care has been at the heart of my clinical work throughout my career. I have extensive experience working with individuals and couples impacted by PTSD and complex trauma, with particular attention to how trauma shapes relationships, communication, trust, and emotional safety. I help couples understand when trauma is showing up between them—not just within one partner—and find new pathways toward connection and healing.
