My Ideal Client

If you've found your way here, you're likely already on a path of healing and growth — but you’re seeking support to address some deeper issues affecting your relationships, psychological, physical or emotional health. It takes courage to reach out for support. No matter where you are on your journey, every part of you is welcome here.

My Approach to Helping

My work is shaped by both personal experience and professional training, as well as years in the fields of mental health, social justice, and holistic wellness. Drawing from somatic, mindfulness-based, and trauma-focused approaches, my work goes beyond addressing symptoms alone. While symptom relief is important, many emotional patterns are rooted in experiences the nervous system has not fully processed. Together we explore the beliefs, experiences, and adaptive strategies that shaped these patterns so they no longer have to carry the same weight. As this happens, clients often experience greater emotional regulation, clarity, and connection.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am a veteran, a wife, and a mother, born and raised in Hawaiʻi. Therapy continues to be an important part of my own healing and growth, and that experience deeply informs how I show up in this work. I believe people are able to access their own authentic wisdom when they feel safe, supported, and truly heard. It is an honor to hold that space for the people I work with.

Techniques I Use

Specialties

  • EMDR External link

EMDR is a psychotherapy that enables people to heal from symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of adverse life experiences. While EMDR is known for its effectiveness in treating trauma-related disorders, it can also be used to address other issues, such as anxiety, depression, addiction, as well as performance enhancements.

  • Holistic External link

If we want to truly heal, we have to start addressing our whole being not just parts of ourselves. I utilize an integrative and holistic framework to help my clients make sense of painful problems and stuck patterns. It points a way forward towards symptom relief that is both empowering and healing.

  • Somatic Therapy (Body Centered) External link

I integrate body-based processes and techniques to help you release nervous system stress, blocked emotions and stored traumas in the body.

Issues I Treat

Specialties

  • Women's Issues External link

Juggling a family, career, relationships, and societal expectations as a woman can be challenging. I help women who are looking to change the course of their relationships by breaking unhealthy patterns, setting boundaries, overcoming people pleasing and perfectionism, building self esteem, and embody the full version of themselves.

  • PTSD External link

I use a trauma-informed, integrative approach to treating behavioral, physiological and emotional disturbances, including PTSD, flashbacks, depression, anxiety, panic attacks and dissociation. Some of the sources I draw from in my practice include: EMDR, Parts Work, Psycho-education and Attachment Repair.

  • Anxiety External link
